What a blessing God has given us in children!! Here at CHAMPS we are excited to be part of helping you in the God-given task of raising your child in a Christ-centered home. We have many tools to help you in that process and making sure your child attends the weekend ministry on a consistent basis will definitely help in your endeavors.

CHAMPS is the ministry to children at Pikes Peak Christian Church. We believe that God wants every child to come to know Him and we want to make sure that every child who comes to CHAMPS has an exciting time, experiences life-change and meets with the Creator of the Universe!!
On the weekend this is a place where kids birth through 2 years old learn the nursery is a safe place where people love them and they are cared for.
The nursery is open every Saturday at 6:30pm; and every Sunday at 8:00, 9:00 and 10:45am. We also offer preschool and elementary classes every Saturday night.
On Sunday mornings this is a place where kids 2 years through kindergarten can learn Biblical truths by singing (really loud), creative play, crafts and even snacks. We want all our preschoolers to know that . . .
God Made Me! God Loves Me! Jesus Wants To Be My Friend Forever!
CHAMPS for preschoolers is open every Sunday at 9:00 and 10:45am.
On Sunday mornings this is a place where kids 1 st through 6th grade meet in small groups (LifeGroups) where LifeGroup leaders build a relationship with the children through discussion, activities, and prayer. Each of these activities are centered around “the bottom line” of the Bible story for that particular week and based on a particular virtue for the month.
We want our 1st through 6th graders to learn the following Basic Truths:
- I Need to Make the Wise Choice
- I Can Trust God No Matter What
- I Should Treat Others the Way I Want to Be Treated

We are GROWING CHAMPS for Christ! CHAMPS is open every Sunday at 9:00 and 10:45am.
Make sure your child connects with the same friends, same leader, same hour- every Sunday!
**Child Protection: Your child is a precious gift from the Father and we protect the security of your child passionately. Each parent or guardian of children ages birth through kindergarten receives a name tag or pager from the greeter. The name tag or pager must be presented in order to pick up your child. For the safety of the little ones, we do not allow children to be picked up by older siblings, unless that sibling is at least 16 years old. It is preferred that all children through 4th grade be picked up by a parent/guardian at their classroom door.
SPECIAL EVENTS:
WinterJAM: A winter camp for kids in 4th through 6th grade where we challenge our children to a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ.
Sports Camp: Kids love sports and what a fantastic way to share the message of Christ with your friends!
Summer Camp: Camp can be the highlight of any kids' (or adults') summer. These camps are filled with hiking, games, Bible activities, singing and all kinds of unbelievable stuff. The kids are able to focus on Christ in an intensive way that cannot be duplicated under any other circumstances. Registration begins in April.
Summer Adventure: A program designed to provide kids fun and safe outings with a Biblical message during the summer break.
Planting Seeds of Faith: This is an hour long presentation for parents who desire to make a public declaration that they will be raising their child in a Christ-centered home. This class is taught twice a year. Come and learn what it means to dedicate yourselves and your child to God.
Joining God’s Family ... is a two-part class where parents and children
(grades K-6th) can learn what it means to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. You and your family are welcome to attend Joining God’s Family to find out what every child needs to know about Sin, Jesus, Faith, Heaven, and Baptism.
